How value is computed
Odds are read per pack variant (advertised vs. the real drop odds) and validated to sum to 100%. Real value = Σ (real odds × each tier's published value-range midpoint), minus a 3–6% haircut calibrated from the only pools Shiny exposes in full.
Shiny's card-pool endpoint is capped at 432 top-value cards/tier, so card means are inflated and we don't use them. The “conservative” return is the −6% figure; the meter's ghost extension is the optimistic midpoint and the tick is the 88.2% buyback floor.
Where a live pull feed exposes values, sampled reveals give an independent value check — preferred over the modelled figure once the sample is large enough.
