How value is computed
NFW publishes odds directly as value bands (a probability for each dollar-value range), summing to 100%. Return = Σ (band chance × band midpoint) ÷ price — computed straight from the published distribution, at SOL backing set by the card's depositor, who is staked on it.
This return is gross: it's the value of the card you win, before the cash-out (sell-back) haircut, which NFW does not publish. The real, realizable figure is therefore lower.
Where a live pull feed exposes values, sampled reveals give an independent value check — preferred over the modelled figure once the sample is large enough.
What we can check on NFW
Publishes its pull odds, so we can compute an expected return from them.
Runs a public live pull feed, so we can sample real reveals.
The feed carries card values, so measured returns are possible.
Card values come from an independent source, not the operator.
