Mixed-sport packs — the ones that can produce any sport from a single pull. Ranked by the typical rip — the median return real pulls delivered, where half came back above and half below. Not a published estimate and not an average one grail can carry. 10 more Sports packs are still being sampled.

Multi-sport packs are the ones that can produce any sport at all — a basketball rookie, a vintage baseball card or a soccer parallel from the same pull. Six of the sites we track sell them, 33 are in our catalogue, and around 53,000 sampled pulls sit behind the ones we rank.
This is the best-sampled category on the site relative to its size. Almost every multi-sport pull we record is attributed to a specific pack, and the ranked packs carry samples in the thousands rather than the hundreds — several above 5,000, one above 10,000.
The board above ranks every multi-sport pack we can measure by the typical rip: the median return, where half of all sampled pulls came back above and half below.
The most jackpot-driven category we measure, and the one where the two ways of averaging disagree most. The typical multi-sport rip returns about 75% of the pack price — the lowest of any category — while the average returns about 104%, the highest. That 29-point gap is the widest on the site and it is measured on samples in the thousands, so it is real: these packs concentrate their value in rare large hits rather than in the ordinary card. Courtyard's $25 Sports Starter is the exception and the standout, typically returning about 118% on more than 2,000 pulls.
Most categories show a gap between the typical rip and the average, because a few enormous pulls lift the mean. In football it is 86% to 95%. In Pokémon it is 80% to 102%. In multi-sport it is 75% to 104% — the largest we measure.
Both numbers are true and they answer different questions. If you rip once, the typical figure is the better guide to what to expect. If you ripped this category a thousand times, the average is what you would converge on, and it sits above the pack price.
The unusual thing is how much evidence sits behind that conclusion. Collector Crypt's packs here carry samples of five to ten thousand pulls each, so this is not a thin-sample artefact — it is a real description of how these packs are built.
A pack that can produce any sport draws from the operator's entire vault rather than one shelf. That gives enormous freedom in what to put in it, and the packs we measure use that freedom to concentrate value in rare large hits rather than spread it across ordinary pulls.
The shape shows it plainly. Collector Crypt's $50 Soccer pack has a typical rip of 80% and an average of 101%; their $100 Sports Gacha pack a typical rip of 67% and an average of 105%. In both cases the ordinary pull lands well under the price and the average is rescued by the tail.
That is a legitimate way to design a pack, and the shot is what most people ripping are actually buying. It is simply worth knowing which kind of pack you have picked.
One operator's packs behave completely differently here. Courtyard's $25 Sports Starter typically returns about 118% on more than 2,100 sampled pulls, their $50 Sports Pro exactly 100%, their $100 Sports Master about 96% and even their $499 Just the Hits about 96%.
That is a flat, generous ladder in a category where everything else slopes down hard — and the $25 figure is both the highest and among the better-sampled on the board.
At the other end sit the $100 gacha-style packs: Collector Crypt's Sports Gacha at about 67% on 5,600 pulls, their Basketball 100 at about 69% on 8,000, and Slabz's Sports 100 at about 69%. The spread between the two groups is not subtle and it is well evidenced on both sides.
Start with the top of the board rather than the category average — the difference between Courtyard's $25 Starter and a $100 gacha pack is about fifty points of typical return.
Be clear about what you want from the category as a whole. Multi-sport is the purest version of the chase on this site: outside the top of the board, an ordinary rip lands well under the price and the upside is genuinely large.
If you want a specific sport, pick that sport's board instead. Soccer, football and basketball all measure better at category level, and a multi-sport pack may simply not give you the sport you want.
A pack that can produce a card from any sport rather than committing to one — basketball, football, baseball, soccer and sometimes others from the same pull. Operators sell them as Multi-Sport, Sports Gacha, Sports Starter or All-Star Sports.
Courtyard's $25 Sports Starter Pack leads on typical rip at about 118%, on more than 2,100 sampled pulls — both the highest figure on the board and one of the better-sampled. Their $50 Sports Pro follows at exactly 100%. The board above is live.
Because most of these packs concentrate their value in rare large hits rather than in the ordinary card. The typical rip returns about 75% of the pack price while the average returns about 104% — the widest gap on the site, measured on samples of thousands of pulls per pack. It is the chase in its purest form.
Probably not. You may not get the sport you want, and soccer, football and basketball all measure better at category level. Multi-sport makes sense when you want the widest possible pool and the biggest possible upside rather than a particular card.
Around 53,000 sampled pulls sit behind the multi-sport packs we rank, from a catalogue of 33 packs across six sites. Almost every multi-sport pull we record is attributed to a specific pack, which is why the ranked packs here carry samples of thousands rather than hundreds.
Figures on this page are measured from live pulls on the operators' own feeds, at their stated card values and the pack price in force at the time of each pull. Returns are gross — cashing a card back takes the site's buyback cut off the top. Written 2026-08-15; the board and the widgets update on their own. Full methodology →
